Privacy Policy
Trent's Fresh Spaces is an interior painting business in York, PA, run by Trent Freeland. This website (trentsfreshspaces.com) was built and is hosted for the business by Divine Davis. This policy explains what the site collects when you book a visit or ask for an estimate, where that information goes, how long it is kept and how to have it deleted.

What we collect

We use this information only to schedule and carry out your estimate or painting job, to contact you about it, and to keep the site secure and running. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not run third-party analytics, and we do not sell or rent your information or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Services that handle your information
- DigitalOcean (United States) hosts the web server, the booking database and the server logs.
- Google (Gmail and Google Calendar) delivers booking emails and calendar invites and holds them in Trent's inbox and calendar. Google's calendar is also read (busy times only) so the site doesn't offer times Trent is already booked.
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) receives the Free Estimate form and forwards it by email to Gmail.
- Google Fonts serves the site's fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
How long we keep it
- Bookings stay in the booking database (cancelled ones are marked cancelled, not erased) and in the related emails and calendar events so Trent has a record of past work. There is no automatic expiry: they are kept until you ask us to delete them.
- Estimate-form emails stay in Gmail until deleted; ask us and we will delete yours. FormSubmit's own retention is described in its privacy policy.
- Web server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Deleting or correcting your information
Email trent.freeland@gmail.com or text (717) 882-1183 and we will delete or correct your booking, the related emails and calendar event, and any estimate request, within 30 days. We may keep a record only where the law requires it (for example, an invoice for work we completed).
Children
This site is for homeowners and renters booking painting work. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, send you a copy, or delete it. We will respond within 30 days (45 days where California law allows) and will confirm your identity by replying to the phone number or email you used.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information and do not collect sensitive personal information. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
- EU/EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): we use your details to take steps you asked for before a contract (booking or quoting your job) and for our legitimate interest in running a secure website. You can access, correct, erase, restrict, object to or port your data, and complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). Your information is stored in the United States.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. The booking database is not publicly accessible, and the booking admin tools require a secret token.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
